Coinciding with Mother’s Day, Google announced some all new family features of Google Assistant. New features are expected to be coming soon, including improved programs, new family bell languages and new stories for kids. This feature has been expanded in Google Assistant Streams and now allows users to ping family members from anywhere on their mobile device. Mobile users can reply to voice messages.
Google Assistant also introduced two new Family Bell reminders to remind users to water the plants and organize the house. Obviously, family ringtone reminders are becoming more and more popular in the family. Since last summer, more than 20 million family calls have been made to help families stay organized that is nearly worth 19 years” said Liliane Rincon, senior director of product management, Google Assistant.
Rincon added that in the future, users will simply end the call with the word “stop”. “The ringtone will also ring on multiple home devices at the same time, not just on speakers or smart displays. In addition, Google will launch eight languages including Dutch, French, German and Hindi in the next few weeks. Family Bell will also be released in some new language, like Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish.
Finally, the Assistant will get new stories and games that can be accessed through smart screens or Android devices. Google will work with Pottermore Publishing to bring the Wizarding World stories and also the stories of Quidditch to those users who wants to know more about Quidditch. This weekend, fans can learn more about Quidditch from Harry Potter’s story by saying “OK, Google, tell me a Quidditch story.”
Google is now adding the Who Was series and some new Easter eggs and songs to the smart display so that children can focus on daily chores and do it properly.
