Joseph Lawrence Mignogna Jr., the popular American actor cum musician, is finally engaged to her girlfriend, Samantha Cop, the actress. The pair got engaged after the singer filed for divorce in 2020, from his wife Chandie Yawn-Nelson.
The media has confirmed that the pair have finally engaged and the actor told, “Coming out of what has been one of the most unpredictable years for everyone, neither one of us could ever have imagined the blessing of meeting your best friend and soulmate. But that’s what happened!” to the PEOPLE.
He added and said, “To fall asleep every night laughing together is now the new normal. And to not only share a life together but to be able to create together and work together is truly fulfilling. We are beyond excited to see what the future holds for us.”
Initially, for the first time, Lawerence highlighted the news and said, “Cope is the best person ever.”
In the context of the wedding plan, he said, “There’s a lot of stuff going on, you know, there’s a lot of stuff going on, which we’ll talk about soon, but yeah, it’s a lot of great stuff. A lot of really great stuff. She’s the best person ever.”
last year, the actor, 45, and his girlfriend, cope, 34 meet for the first time at the set of the movie, ‘Lifetime.’ In fact, the movie was directed by the actor’s brother, Andrew, and the movie is set to premiere in September.
Lawrence claims, “So we met there and out of nowhere, you know, it was a crazy year and a half for everybody, obviously the whole world. Then when you least expect [it,] amazing things happen, and meeting her has just been really the greatest thing ever.”
Notably, Joey and his ex-wife, Chandie Yawn-Nelson were married for about years and share two kids, Liberty, 11, and Charleston, 15. However, Joey previously from 2002 to 2005, was married to Michelle Vella.
Recently, while making their appearance for the ‘SWIM,’ which premieres Friday on Tubi, Joey and Nelson opened up on their relationship and detailed it.
Thus, Joey said, ” Life is an amazing journey. I was married a very long time, married young and everything and then had my kids, which were great and they are amazing, and then life is life and is imperfect.”
He continued and noted, “This journey that we go on is certainly an imperfect journey on this world of ours, and you have to just get used to that idea that this is an imperfect journey, that’s what it is. Last year was just a brutal year for everybody, but personally too, it was a brutal year. And then when you least expect it, you meet the greatest person ever, truly.”
