Tsunami advisories in U.S. lifts after pacific volcano eruption

The tsunami advisory has hit the United States, West Coast and Alaska on 16th January after the volcano erupted in the pacific on 15th January.

On Sunday, the statement was issued. The officials have mentioned that after the West Coast and Alaska volcanic eruption, a “Devastating wave is coming forward as it is on the way.”

According to the sources, the officials have alerted the individuals to stay away from the northern California beaches as it was dangerous for the people to be at that location, there were still five people stuck there, and rescue forces helped those people out to safety from that place as they were too close to the ocean waves.

On Saturday, the Representative of the U.S. State Department stated, the residents living in Tonga and Fihi have been warned about the tsunami. As per the information provided by the U.S embassy the Tonga’s Meteorological Services have issued an alert about the heavy rain, heavy flood, and powerful winds in the coastal waters as well as in the land, and the officials of Fijian have precautioned the citizens to remain aside from the coastal regions.

The spokesman of the State Department mentioned they have no information related to the U.S. residents that are affected by the situation.

The National Weather Service Anchorage has revoked the tsunami advisory for “All the locations in the Gulf” in the afternoon on Saturday. The service has mentioned that the advisory was still under effect. “Until and unless the further notice comes, it is for the Alaska Peninsula and the Aleutians. ”

In Hawaii, the advisory has been issued following the volcano that erupted in the undersea on Saturday nearby the country of Tonga in the Pacific. It was further revoked as the size of the wave has been started to decrease.
