US witnesses surge in cases and Hospitalization due to Omicron

In the US, as per the information provided by the sources, on Saturday, around 466,000 individuals infected from the COVID-19 variant were noticed, now the overall count of the affected people is close to 61 million.

Moreover, on 3rd January, the USA showed the highest number of Coronavirus cases per day with 1,080,211 cases.

The main reason behind the devastating situation in the United States is the COVID-19 variant Omicron which is also creating chaos across the globe. The COVID-19 has set a record that also leads to the increase in the number of people getting affected by the infection on an everyday basis.

Additionally, at the beginning of November 2021, the Omicron variant was noticed in South Africa, Afterwards, the number of individuals getting affected by the infection has also increased the rate of admission in hospitals in the United States.

On Saturday, the Health officials alerted that the rise in the cases of the COVID-19 has also put pressure on the hospitals as the majority of the people admitted are patient affected by the COVID-19 variant Omicron, and this situation has remained constant since the beginning of the last December.

Along with this, the maximum number of health care centres are facing a shortage of workers/employees as many of them are infected from the virus, and they are not able to work, so it is becoming difficult for the hospital’s authorities to cure the patients and fulfilling the there demands.

According to the report, the increase in the number of people getting affected by the Omicron variant is creating extreme stress and pressure on the health care staff. There are people out there who are still un-vaccinated, and it also leads to an increase in the cases, and the doctors and nurses are facing difficulty in treating them.

Apart from this, people ignore the advice provided by the doctors to get vaccinated, but the people refuse to do so, and after getting affected, they seek help from the same doctors.
