California: one dead and four injured in Grayhound bus shooting

On 2nd January, Wednesday In the United States, in the Grayhound bus, the incident took place. Five people were shot, four of them were brutally injured, and one was dead on the spot. According to the information provided by the officials, later, the man was under arrest near the Walmart in Northern California.

As per the Butte County Sheriff’s Office, the police in Oroville, California, got a call on 911 about the incident that took place inside a Grayhound bus around 7:35 p.m.

Moreover, the bus in which the act happened was parked outside a convenience store on Oroville-Dam and Feather River boulevards in Oroville, which is around 65 miles to the north of Sacramento.

According to the information during the search operations, the officers with the Oroville Police Department as well as the Butte County Sheriff’s Office discovered various individuals have also had the wounds of the gunshot. “Despite the life-saving efforts, one person was dead at the time when the incident took place, and the remaining victims who were injured, transported to the nearby hospital.”

Butte County Sheriff Kory Honea and Oroville Mayor Chuck Reynolds mentioned the shot individuals are not identified yet. The information of all of those four people in the hospitals is not shared.

Additionally, when the police arrived at the location, the suspect was not there and after the police got the calls that the man was inside the Walmart on Cal oak Road in Oroville.

All the Butte County sheriff’s deputies and various law enforcement officers went to Walmart to get the evidence related to the suspect as they wanted to make sure the person was the shooter.
