Colorado– On Friday, 25 February, the Governor of Colorado has made a statement about a new way to manage the COVID-19 infection. As the cases of infected people are decreasing, the state is getting prepared for handling the upcoming illness.
As per the information provided by the sources, the objective is to make the change in the various regions that also involves preparing for the coming virus and managing the lack of health care workers and similar concerns. The average cases of infection are showing a downward trend which is a relief for the entire world.
Moreover, Jared Polis, as well as the state health officials, have made the announcement to shift from the pandemic to an endemic response considered, “Colorado’s Next Chapter: Our Roadmap to Moving Forward.”
The Governor of Colorado mentioned, “Thanks to the commitment and resilience of Coloradans doing our part to get vaccinated with all three lifesaving doses, our state’s balanced approach to the pandemic, and the heroism of our health care workers and public health professionals, the vast majority of Coloradans who are vaccinated can proceed with normal life free of fear of the virus. We now have the types of equipment to turn the page and begin a new chapter.”
Further, he added, “Fully vaccinated Coloradans can rest assured that you are reasonably safe to live your normal pre-pandemic life as the state of Colorado along with our partners in local public health and healthcare providers will be hard at work ensuring our readiness for whatever curveballs or variants the future throws us.”
On Friday, Polis said in a Tweet, “Last summer, I declared an end to the public health emergency because we had the tools we needed and the systems in place to keep ourselves and our loved ones safe and avoid overcrowding our hospitals. But today, I’m here to say that it’s time for us to turn the page.”
