Texas man sentenced for interstate transmission of extortionate conversations

In Texas, a 40-year-old Austin Alan Hall has been sentenced by the United States District Judge named Elizabeth E. Foote to 27 months in prison with an exceptional condition that he will now be serving an additional six months for interstate transmission of extortionate conversations.

On March 17, 2021, as per the information presented in court, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Shreveport got a call from a person from an individual who has discovered himself as Austin Alan Hall as well as asked to communicate with an agent. Moreover, he was forwarded to the FBI’s Public Access Line.

After that time, Hall remembered the FBI Shreveport office and mentioned that he did not want to be disrespectful, but he needed to have a word with the agent and not a recording.

Along with this, he continuously mentioned that the judges had kept his daughter away from him, now he wanted to take care of them.

However, the 40-year-old mentioned he wanted to talk to an agent in the next ten minutes. Otherwise, he was going to take care of the judges.

Further, the questions were raised to the Hall, “You said you are going to take care of the judges?” He answered, “That is what is said.” At that point, an FBI agent took the phone.

On the other hand, Hall went on to share the information about himself to the agent as being a physically prominent individual as well as that he would take out a judge and that he was disoriented.

Meanwhile, Hall mentioned to the agent, “If I need to say I will go after judges to speak to someone, I will do it.”

The FBI agent has raised the question from Hall that if he was threatening the judges in order to be heard or if he had the intentions to hurt someone. Hall further replied, “I plead the Fifth.”
