Wisconsin Man accused of hiding camera in a coffee cup to capture over 500 naked victims in gym changing room

In the United States, a man from Wisconsin has hidden a camera in a coffee cup to capture more than 500 naked victims inside the changing rooms in gyms.

As per the information provided by the sources, the man was named Peng Dong, 33-year-old, was having a laughing face when the police officials arrested him.

The 33-year-old inserted a camera in a coffee mug and made it hidden so that he could easily film the individuals at the several Wisconsin Athletic Club areas.

According to the officials, when the man was under arrest when one of the members of the Wisconsin Athletic Club discovered the camera and shared the details related to it.

During the investigation, the law enforcement officers raised the question to Mr Dong. He replied, “he was only setting up his video camera to catch the person he believed was targeting him and stealing his belongings.”

However, the complaint of the criminal case stated that Mr Dong was laughing when the officials asked him if he had recorded anyone without the clothes, and he mentioned that he was “very certain” that he had.

Afterwards, the police officials worked to check all of the hard drives, and one officer counted that there were 524 victims, including around nine appearing to be younger than 10, and some of the recordings were of early 2019.

Along with this, the suspect said to the officers he did not know that he had broken the law by doing such things.

Currently, he has been charged with 15 felonies, with 11 linked to the club’s Wauwatosa location as well as four of the connected gyms in the Glendale location.

According to the court records, the 33-year-old man was found at the Brookfield location.

In the previous December month, he posted $1,000 bail but was not able to show up for his court date in February.

Furthermore, the club mentioned in a statement, “The Wisconsin Athletic Club takes the protection of their members very seriously. It is clearly mentioned in our clubs that the use of video is banned in our locker rooms & is subject to state as well as local law. We are saddened that this incident took place and have a zero-tolerance policy for these actions and misconduct.”
