In Georgia, USA, a county coroner has discovered the bodies of his parents and his son, who were killed on Friday, April 8, in a house robbery at the Lock Stock & Barrel Shooting Range in Grantville, as per the police officials.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) gave the confirmation on Saturday, April 9, that all three had been shot to death.
Moreover, the Grantville Police Department mentioned in the statement on their social media account that the happening took place at the time of 5:30 p.m.
Grantville is approximately 50 miles towards the southwest of Atlanta.
Along with this, the Cheif of the Grantville Police, named Steve Whitlock, has identified all of the victims as Tommy Hawk, Evelyn (Wife) and the 19-year-old boy named Luke, who was their grandson.
According to the police chief, the Coweta County Coroner Richard Hawk reached the crime scene after the happening occurred as well as he found all of the bodies.
Meanwhile, during an interview on Friday in the evening, the coroner announced three deaths.
Various investigation teams are working on the case.
On Saturday, April 9, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms as well as the Explosives (ATF), is investigating because of the number of weapons that have been stolen, and they have also announced a $15,000 reward for the details that will give direction towards the arrest as well as the conviction in the triple murder.
On the other hand, the ATF Atlanta Field Division Special Agent in Charge Benjamin P. Gibbons noted in a statement, “The brutality of these senseless killings with the fact that these killer(s) have acquired extra firearms make solving this case our top priority.”
Furthermore, on social media, the Georgia Bureau of Investigation highlighted, “The GBI, ATF, & Grantville P.D. are looking for data about a robbery & triple homicide in Grantville.”
