In Morgantown, USA, a man has been charged after breaking into a house of a woman and attacking her.
As per the criminal complaint, on April 9, the Morgantown Police Department and the officers were dispatched to a residence for a loud voice call at a home on Spencer Avenue in Morgantown.
When the officers reached the residence, they tried various times to check on the welfare of a woman “with no answer”.
The officers mentioned in the statement that they heard at the time in the home, and they forcibly entered the apartment to check up on the well-being of the women.
Moreover, at the time when they entered the front door, the officers observed the female victim as well as they started, “could clearly see that she had been attacked and was in shock.” According to the complaint.
In residence, the officers, “observed multiple plants and refrigerator items had been knocked over in the kitchen” and that “the door had been kicked in and destroyed,” says the officers.
Along with this, the victim shared the information to the officers that the 59-year-old named Terry Ford of Morgantown” had entered her residence by busting down the back door while she was sleeping on the couch” and that Ford had “began to attack her so fast she could not describe what he was wearing,” highlighted in the complaint.
As per the officers, at the time of the attack, Ford “held a knife over her as he punched her in the face and drugged her down the hallway by the hair” the victim was later able to pick up the knife when the Ford dropped it and barricade herself in the bathroom.
Furthermore, Ford has been charged with malicious wounding and burglary at the nighttime. He is being held in the North Central Regional Jail on a $250,000 bond.
