California: Teacher apprehends for molesting four girl students in classroom

United States: A substitute teacher for a southern California elementary school was apprehended as he has molested four female students in a classroom, according to the authorities. 

As per the local police, the alleged victims, of aged between 8 to 9, shared the information with the investigators that the teacher touched them inappropriately in separate incidents inside Adams Elementary School in Santa Ana. 

Moreover, the Santa Ana Police Department mentioned in the statement, “Each victim was molested individually and at different times throughout the day.”

The 69-year-old man has posted $100,000 bail after he was detained on suspicion of child molestation, says the Santa Ana police. 

Along with this, the Detectives believe there could be more alleged victims. The suspect was a teacher for the Santa Ana Unified School District for 18 years before he became a substitute.

Apart from this, a Bureau of Justice Statistics report indicates that 1.6 percent, which is sixteen out of one thousand of the young ones between the ages of 12-17, were victims of rape/sexual assault. 

The USA Department of Health and Human Services’ Children’s Bureau report Child Maltreatment 2010 has discovered that 9.2 percent of victimized children that were sexually assaulted. 

In 1886, a study was conducted that discovered that 63 percent of the women who had suffered sexual abuse by a family member also reported a rape or have attempted rape after the age of 14.

In recent studies in 2000, 2002, and 2005 have all concluded similar results.

The children who have experienced rape of has attempted rape in their adolescent years were 13.7 times more likely to experience rape or have attempted rape in their first year of college.
