United States: The Hollywood star Drake expressed his condolences via Instagram post to the family and friends of the Indian rapper, singer, actor and politician Sidhu Moose Wala, aka Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, 28-year-old, who was shot dead in broad daylight in the Mansa district Punjab, India.
This incident took place the day after the Punjab government had withdrawn the security of 424 individuals, including Sidhu Moose Wala. He was driving a Mahindra SUV and sustained over 30 gunshots. Two of the people, along with him, were severely injured.
Earlier, Sidhu had four government security guards, who were there to protect him, but in less than 24 hours, the protection circle was cut down to two guards.
Moreover, the Canadian Rapper Drake, also known as Aubrey Drake Graham, has expressed condolences at the death of a Punjabi singer. He shared a story on his official Instagram, citing, “RIP MOOSE (added a bird emoji) … @sidhu_moosewala,” a picture of Sidhu and his mother.
Sidhu was also a politician as he was the Congress party leader.
According to the sources, the Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar, Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang, has claimed responsibility for his death.
Along with this, on Sunday, he was accompanied by his cousin and friend, Gurpreet Singh and Gurwinder Singh. After sustaining gunshots, Sidhu was severely wounded; he was bleeding and heaving and was shifted to the nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The doctors said that he was brought dead.
In a statement, Sidhu mentioned that he used to listen to rappers like Bohemia and Drake since he was a kid. As he was living in Canada, he had a different connection with Drake. He felt that the Canadian artist was representing Toronto at a Global Level and also wanted to do that.
Furthermore, entire India and his fans all over the world are shocked by the tragic news of his murder.
