United States: In Columbia County, a man was arrested by the police after it was revealed that he had stabbed his neighbour multiple times. The preliminary investigation informed that the accused had been charged with attempted homicide.
As per the Police Department of Borough of Berwick, the officers received a call from the 1200 block of Spring Garden Avenue about the report of a stabbing on May 7, 2022, at around 2:30 pm.
Investigators have further stated that after arriving at the scene, they found the victim bleeding profusely from his upper torso. Moreover, police added that the victim had multiple stab wounds in the head, face, upper left chest, and shoulder areas.
The victim informed the police that his downstairs neighbour, Christopher Broyan, a 3-year-old of Berwick, came out of his apartment & started stabbing the victim multiple times while waiting outside for pizza to be delivered.
Along with this, as per the information, a witness has seen Broyan holding the victim with one hand and in the other holding a knife, and he was stabbing him.
Broyan was known by police for previous incidents at the residence. In addition, he was taken into custody, and investigators discovered dried blood around his hands.
Furthermore, Berwick Police Department is charging Broyan with criminal attempt homicide as well as aggravated assault.
