United States: A seven-year-old boy identified as Troy Koheler from Texas was reported missing at about 6:30 am when he had been missing for about 2 to 3 hours. The victim was found dead in a top-load machine in his garage in his house in Texas. When police arrived, the victim’s father was at home, and his mother had returned from the night shift from the hospital and was still in uniform.
The cops were informed that Troy was adopted by his parents in 2019. The incident is still being investigated. No charges or arrests have been made. The victim’s foster father said he came home to find their house unlocked just before the body was discovered. Police in Spring, Texas, said they received a call around 5:20 am, and the body was found around 6 am at the family’s rented home.
We are unaware of what happened with the boy, whether he was murdered and then placed inside the washing machine or just an accident; we’re just so far from that, I cannot comment so soon,” said Harris County Sheriff’s Office Lieutenant Robert Minchew.
American law enforcement officer and 30th sheriff of Harris county, Texas, ED Gonzalez, informed about the incident on his Twitter account and wrote, Confirmed deceased on scene.CSI and HCSO Homicide responded to the scene, and a follow-up investigation is underway.
Earlier, the Harris County Constable tweeted about the victim as missing. Later, he confirmed his death. “It is sad to report the missing 7-year-old we posted on earlier in the 4400 block of Rosegate has been found deceased,” he said
According to the sources, the parents were taken in the police patrol cars for questioning in the case.
Lieutenant Mr Minchew said that Troy had lived alone in the house with his parents since 2019 when he was adopted by the two. Furthermore, he adds that there is “not a lot of history” of calls from the house that cop investigators could find.
