United States: The Humane Society of North Texas shared a picture of their NBC DFW Pet of the Week named Luna, a Four-year-old, beautiful, black cat.
They shared the information through their official social media account and highlighted, “What’s the one thing that will make Christmas EVEN better? Well let us introduce you to our NBC DFW Pet of the Week! Meet Luna, our shy 4-year-old, beautiful, black cat who loves nothing more than getting cozy under the Christmas tree.”
While Luna may take a little bit to warm up, she’ll have no problems coming up to you after she’s comfortable! We’re told she actually prefers people to other animals, she just plays hard to get at first. She enjoys taking naps.. especially in her cozy cat bed. She tolerates other cats, but in a stereotypical fashion, and is not a big fan of those slobbery, hyper dogs (as she calls them).
Luna is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, FIV/FeLV tested negative, and litter box trained, which means she’s ready to come home with you today. “Want even better news?”
This Sunday (December 18), in partnership with the Petco Love, Make More Merry Adoption Event, all pets are FREE to adopt at all HSNT locations and adoption events (excluding our Hurst Adoption Center). “So, what are you waiting for?”
Along with this, they stated for more information about Luna, and people can log in to the Humane Society of North Texas website and then they can adopt her from their Benbrook Waggin Tails Adoption Center.
On the other hand, the Humane Society of North Texas has also shared another update on the best Christmas gift. They highlighted, “What’s the best Christmas gift? A new furry friend! Stop by our Make More Merry Mega Adoption Event tomorrow from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. to find the perfect pet for you.”
“All fees will be waived (yes, that means free adoptions!) at all of our locations (excluding our Hurst location). We’ll see you there!”
