JSFM Holds Rallies to Protest State Brutality in Sindh

On January 24th, the Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement (JSFM) organized protest rallies in Kandyaro and Tharirri Mohabbat City in Sindh, Pakistan, to mark the 119th birth anniversary of Sain GM Syed, the founder of Sindhi Nationalism. The rallies were organized to protest against the state brutalities and aggression on workers, women and children by state institutions such as the Sindh Rangers and State Police. The protesters also issued a memorandum against the recent shelling and shootings in Sann on January 17th.

The rally began in the city and ended at the press club, where a meeting was held. Office bearers of the JSFM spoke against the state’s aggression on workers, women and children. The protesters also raised slogans against state oppression and state fascism. Upon reaching the press clubs, the rallies took the form of demonstrations. Slogans were raised to recover national workers who were forcibly disappeared by the state, and the statement was issued that state terrorism would not be accepted.

Addressing the protest demonstrations, JSFM leaders at the venue issued a stern warning to the state. They said that JSFM is a Revolutionary political Organization dedicated to Sindh’s freedom while following GM Syed’s ideology and should not be taken for granted. The leaders also stressed that if they have to sacrifice, they are ready and will not back down, even if it means sacrificing children, homes, and families.

The protesters also warned the state that Sindh could not bear more cruelty, and the state should commit only that much cruelty on the people of Sindh it can bear in the coming days as all such brutalities against innocent men, women and children of Sindh will be accounted for in future.

The Jeay Sindh Freedom Movement is a political organization in Pakistan that aims to achieve the freedom of Sindh. The organization believes that Pakistan has occupied Sindh since 1947 and that the Sindhi people have been subjected to repression and discrimination. The organization seeks to achieve independence for Sindh through peaceful and democratic means.

The protests come amid a growing sense of frustration and anger among the people of Sindh over the state’s brutalities and aggression. Many believe that the state is not doing enough to protect the rights of the people of Sindh and that the state is using force to silence dissent.
