Pakistans’ Shahzad Chaudhry praises India for its growing prestige on global platform

Pakistan: For the first time ever, the Pakistan daily, the Express Tribune, has praised India for its growing prestige on the global platform, also the nation’s relevance to the world, highlighting its population as well as its size and its impact worldwide.

A security, political and defence analyst, Shahzad Chaudhry, mentioned while writing an opinion piece in the Express Tribune that if he were Henry Kissinger, he would pen a treatise on the history of India.

Further, he added, the internal, as well as external status of India has witnessed immense growth in recent years, making it wise to consider what lies ahead of the country.

According to the reports, India 2022 took over the United kingdom in order to become the 5th biggest economy in the globe, as well as the nation also strives to become the 3rd largest economy in the world by 2037.

Whereas, the economy of Pakistan depends on financial assistance from the global community.

The international community has made a great contribution to Pakistan by helping them with about 8 billion USD, which allows them to fight in a climate-resilient manner after the catastrophic floods of the previous year that killed nearly 1,739 individuals as well as impacted at least 33 million people.

Along with this, Shahzad Chaudhry also applauded the nation for having foreign exchange reserves of over USD 600 billion, 4th in the world. While, currently Pakistan has only about USD 4.5 billion.

Currently, Pakistan is facing the most serious issues it has gone through since 1971. The political system has been seriously damaged as a result of its own missteps, which results in a reduction in its global influence.

While he compared India with China, the world’s 2nd largest economy after the United States of America, has outlined in the statement that it is the growth rate in GDP matches the best-performing economies from the last 30 years after China.
