In a testament to Grenada’s allure as a premier Caribbean destination, the Grenada Tourism Authority (GTA) has announced a remarkable surge in visitor arrivals, marking a substantial upswing in the island’s tourism sector.

The first quarter of 2024 witnessed a noteworthy increase in visitors, painting a vibrant picture of Grenada’s growing popularity among global travelers.

According to the GTA, the United States emerged as a pivotal contributor to this growth, with a staggering 27.1 percent increase in stopover visitors compared to the same period in 2023.

This surge catapulted visitor numbers from 22,734 to 28,889, underscoring Grenada’s heightened appeal to American travelers seeking sun-drenched shores and cultural experiences.

Simultaneously, the United Kingdom demonstrated its affinity for Grenada, with a commendable 15.4 percent rise in visitors, from 7,780 stopovers in Q1 2023 to 8,982 stopovers in Q1 2024.

This trend reflects the island’s enduring charm and its ability to captivate travelers from diverse corners of the globe.
