US records over 800,000 daily COVID-19 infections: Report

COVID-19 is creating a chaotic situation as the United States has noticed that the cases are setting a record since the pandemic has begun. Figures show 800,000 infected people per day as the people are getting infected.

As per the information provided by the sources, on Friday, New York has noticed around 48,000 cases of people were infected with the COVID-19 infection. On Saturday, Governor of New York Kathy Hochul mentioned that there was 47 per cent of the downfall in the total cases.

Kathy Hochul said in a statement, “We are facing the winters, the season has been changed, but still we have not yet gone through this situation.”

The ICU- Intensive Care Unit hospitalizations have been reduced for individuals infected with the new variant of the COVID-19 Omicron. On the other hand, in Washington DC and in the other cities, the rate of the COVID-19 affected people has been brought down. This same scenario is in 50% per cent of the nation’s eastern side.

On Sunday, the Surgeon General, Vivek Murthy has alerted that the reduction in the figures if the affected people don’t indicate that it is safer for the people now and the situation is under control by the national point of view. “The whole nation is not facing the same concern as all, and they are going at a different speed.”

There was a 100 per cent increase in the COVID-19 cases in Oklahoma and Georgia. The Johns Hopkins University data depicts the information that there is a 90 per cent rise in the COVID-19 affected people in Colorado.

Apart from this, he said, “We should not have expectation related to the highest cases of the COVID-19 new variant Omicron infection in the upcoming days, the coming days, it will be more harder.”
