North Texas police officer succumbs to COVID-19

In North Texas, the Pantego Police Department has declared the information that Corporal Sheli Godbold, Badge #610, has passed away on 10th February after suffering from the COVID-19 infection for a long time. As per the information provided by the sources, she was facing many complications and had a challenging journey while fighting the disease.

Moreover, in 2004, Corporal Godbold began her police career at the Police Department till 2012. She was diagnosed with various sclerosis, which was has put a full stop in her police career for a short period of time due to several complications from multiple sclerosis.

However, Godbold visited Russia for the treatment of cell treatment, and she tried her very best to continue her career in policing. On the other hand, in 2016, she was hired by the Pantego Police Department as a patrol police officer and was awarded the promotion to Detective with the rank of Corporal in 2018.

Along with this, the police officer was an active participant in the Pantego community and has been involved in MS fundraising marathons and various other activities. in 2021 February, during the ice storm, Godbold utilized her Jeep to provide passages to frontline medical workers.

Meanwhile, the lady also did the off-duty police positions with the Arlington Police Department during her leisure time. She used to offer security and traffic control during Cowboy as well as Ranger games.

The Pantego Police officer requested others to “Please keep Sheli, her daughter Kayla, family, and the staff of the Town of Pantego in your beliefs and prayers during this hard time.”
