Pennsylvania man charged for killing Uber driver

In Pennsylvania, on Friday, 18 February, a man was charged for killing a Uber driver who has been disappeared since the previous week. It has been described as a deadly robbery.

Moreover, the man was named Calvin Crew, 22-year-old and has been charged with criminal homicide, robbery as well as spoiling with evidence in the death of Christina Spicuzza, 38-year-old.

As per the criminal complaint, a dashcam inside the car of Spicuzza captured the Crew that was pointing the gun towards her neck while driving the car and telling him, “I am begging you, I have four children.”

On Friday, in the statement, it was mentioned that the Allegheny County Police Superintendent Christopher Kearns shared the details related to the Uber driver, that he vanished after 10 February.

Along with this, he said, the woman died with the single injury of the gunshot. After she was no more, the man tried to get access to the banking apps of Spicuzza so that he could transfer all of the money to his girlfriend’s account.

According to the officials, the girlfriend of Crew is not identified yet.

Additionally, the dead body of Spicuzza was discovered by an Amazon driver in the wooded area about 40 feet from the road in suburban Pittsburgh. Her Nissan Sentra was found around 2 miles away in Pitcairn.

The Allegheny County Assistant Police Superintendent, Victor Joseph, mentioned Crew noticed the dashcam and threw it away from Spicuzza’s car.

Afterwards, the investigator observed it nearby, where the Uber trip ended.
