Pennsylvania: police solve killing of 9-year-old girl, after 58 years

In Pennsylvania, a 9-year-old girl was found dead in 1964, and after 58 years, the case related to her death has been solved. The police authorities have found the person behind her death.

Moreover, Marise Ann Chiverella was discovered murdered, and the Pennsylvania State Police has identified the man who has behind this her death.

Chiverella family members mentioned that the only memories they had for their daughter were that they found it in the pit hole on that Thursday. On the other hand, the girl was sexually assaulted and was killed.

Furthermore, the Pennsylvania State Police found the man responsible for her death after five years.

On Thursday, Lt. Devon M. Brutosky shared the information about the investigators’ discovery of the killed after such a long time. “The Pennsylvania State Police was discovered in 1905, so more than half of our existence we have solved this case.”

The investigators found the accused with the help of the DNA test and genealogical research. James Paul Forte, 22-year-old, was the person who was behind the killing of the small girl.

As per the police officials, he used to live six to seven blocks from the home of Marise, but it is not yet identified what connection he has with her family member and the reason behind the step he took against her.

Forte died at the age of 38 because of a natural cause (heart attack) in the bar where he was working in 1980. Police mentioned that he was also connected to two more crimes which information was gathered from the data.

The investigators did a DNA test using the bodily fluids that were found on the jacket of the 9-year-old in 2007.
