Pennsylvania and Allegheny County reports gradual decrease in COVID-19 cases: Reports

In Allegheny County and Pennsylvania, the cases of the variant of COVID-19 is getting decreased gradually as the people are less likely to get affected by the Omicron variant across and in the state.

Moreover, the admissions of the people in the hospitals due to the variant of COVID-19 Omicron has been also been reduced as the cases are decreasing. However, the number of people facing casualties are still on the rise.

As per the information provided by the county health department, from January 23 to January 29, there were around 10,455 people have been infected with cases of the COVID-19 recently in Allegheny County. In the last week, the percentage of deaths was noticed at 12 percent.

Furthermore, there is a slight decrease in the cases of the coronavirus in the middle of January, the count of the people that are infected has been noticed as the half of the previously recorded cases of the Omicron variant from 22,326 patients on the end of the month January 15 to 11,821 till Jan. 22.

Meanwhile, in the last week, there were 80 casualties among residents, which were up from the previous week deaths as there were 72 deaths registered.

According to the information provided by the sources, the COVID-19 infection takes time to deteriorate to the point of serious illness and hospitalization, and the death tends to decrease as the cases increase.

During the whole pandemic, there were around 250,804 individuals affected by the infection, 12,322 people were admitted to the hospital as well as 2,915 deaths were noticed in Allegheny County.
