US records downtrend in COVID-19 cases; state to ease mask restrictions

In the United States, the new variant of the COVID-19 has been showing a downfall as it has been reduced to 90 percent. Since the pandemic has started, it is the first time the cases are declining gradually.

By observing the current situation, the state health experts and the leaders are making everyone mentally prepared to live without the measures that were made to protect the individuals from the COVID variant.

Moreover, the Public Health experts are working on treating the COVID infection as a constant issue and making sure that it is under control.

As per the data compiled by Johns Hopkins University, on the average basis, the United States is noticing 84,000 of the latest cases of people getting infected by the COVID-19 variant, which is less than 800,000 cases which were reported on 15 January and it was the highest count since the pandemic has been started.

All over the nation, the cases of Coronavirus infection is decreasing at a rapid speed by 40 percent.

Along with this, the number of individuals admitted in the health care centres has been reduced as the cases are downsizing.

According to the figures provided by the Department of Health and Human Services, on Monday, there were around 66,000 patients in the United States hospitals.

The Average number of death cases has been raised and has been reported as the maximum number of deaths. On 1 February, there were around 2,600 casualties on a daily basis.

The White House Covid response coordinator named Jeff Zients mentioned in the last week, “While we’re not where we all want to be yet, we’re encouraged by the dramatic declines we’re seeing in cases and hospitalizations nationwide.”
