1 killed, over 2 dozens injured after tornadoes tore through Texas, Oklahoma

In the United States, Texas, one person has died. Over two dozen were wounded when tornadoes tore through parts of the state and Oklahoma damaging an educational institution, the homes and the businesses before the storm system constantly storm destructive path on Tuesday into Louisiana and Mississippi.

All of the high winds uprooted the trees in Ridgeland as a possible tornado passed the Jackson-area city on Tuesday in the afternoon, but there were no immediate reports of any of the injuries or severe damage to the buildings.

Along with this, the campus police officials at the Mississippi State University in Starkville shared a photograph of a large hardwood tree lying across a street.

The Forecasters issued multiple tornado warnings for the state, and the alerts, increased into Alabama as the queue of storms moved towards eastward. Over 90,000 homes and businesses were left without power from Texas to Mississippi.

The majority of the schools were closing or cancelling after school activities on Tuesday, March 22, in the maximum parts of Louisiana and Mississippi to allow students to get home before the weather worsens. The Shelters opened for the residents who needed a place to stay while the storm travelled through.

Moreover, the storms were expected to intensify throughout the day as the temperatures rise, the increase in the threat of tornadoes, hail as well as strong winds.

The forecasters predicted intense tornadoes and damaging winds, some of the hurricane-force with speeds of 75 mph or more significant, in much of Mississippi, southern and eastern Louisiana, and western Alabama.

Baton Rouge, La., and Jackson, Miss., were among the cities that were at risk for bad weather.
