Nevada man detained for abducting 18-year-old Naomi

Nevada, USA– Troy Driver, 41, was detained on Friday, March 25, in connection with the abduction of Naomi Irion, 18 years old.

As per the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, the Driver approached Irion’s car in a Fernley Walmart parking lot at 5:00 a.m. on March 12 and was arrested on abduction charges.

Moreover, in the Surveillance footage, the Driver may be seen hovering around Irion’s 1992 Mercury Sable on surveillance tape before getting inside and driving away. The officials have discovered Irion’s car unattended at an industrial park near Walmart on March 15.

Along with this, the police officials mentioned that the Driver’s truck had been impounded as well as taken into the evidence.

The location of the 18-year-old from Nevada is still not identified related to his arrest. The phone records indicated that she was more active on her social media as well as she received a Snapchat minutes before she got disappeared.

On the other hand, Irion’s mother mentioned during an interview that she was waiting for a shuttle to her job at Panasonic, which usually arrives between 5:30 a.m. and 5:40 a.m.

Furthermore, on March 25, Lyon County Sheriff named Frank Hunewill stated, “This is still a very active investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available. Naomi has still not been located, and we are continuing to search for her information.”
