Washington police officer shot to death after getting into fight in Starbucks parking lot

A police officer was shot to death during a fight in a Starbucks parking lot in Washington state on Friday afternoon, according to the information shared by the authorities.

The dead police officer has been identified as 41-year-old. He was from the Everett Police Department Officer Dan Rocha, highlighted by the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.

Moreover, the officials mentioned that a 50-year-old man had Wafired several shots at Rocha after the two of them got into a fight.

The suspect escaped the scene in a blue Mini Cooper as well as was pursued by Everett Police, as per the cops.

Later on, the man had a crash around 2.5 miles away from the Starbucks. The suspect was further admitted to the health care centre in an unknown condition.

Along with this, the Everett Community College was located across the street from the place where the incident took place; the site was locked as the police officials answered to a “death at the Starbucks,” as per the school officials. The college is currently on spring break as well as no classes were in the session at the time.

A man who was there when the incident occurred mentioned that he heard the shots at about 2:15 p.m. and saw a uniformed officer’s body on the ground in a Starbucks parking lot near the Everett Community College campus.

Meanwhile, George LaBauve mentioned that he saw the suspect gunman tuck away his firearm before running over the officer’s body as he escaped in a blue Mini Cooper.

According to the Deputies from the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office were seen covering the downed officer’s body in a sheet in the parking lot about 2:30 p.m.

Furthermore, Everett is discovered about 30 miles north of Seattle.
