Texas, USA– A mother was shot to death. She was murdered on Tuesday, Monday 22, at a Texas cemetery while she was visiting the grave of her dead son for his “first birthday in heaven,” according to the police officials as well as her ex-husband.
The 52-year-old named Yolanda N’Gaojia was fatally shot just after 5 p.m. at the Calvary Baptist Church Garden of Memories Cemetery in Killeen.
Moreover, the police officer mentioned that the second victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Yolanda’s ex-husband Kineh N’Gaojia stated on Facebook, “I have no words because I can’t believe this is real.”
Kenneth further highlighted, “This is stuff you see [in] movies, but it has become our life. I can’t believe you are gone … how y’all going to kill her on her son’s birthday at his gravesite???”
Along with this, the ex-husband said during an interview that the 52-year-old woman was visiting the grave of her son Amir on what would have been his 22nd birthday.
Yolanda’s son faced death on New Year’s Day. He was one of the three children Yolanda and Kineh had together, the outlet said.
However, Kineh mentioned in another post, “My children will never be the same again.”
The father mentioned, “Those bullets took a precious gem from us but gave us an Amazing Angel to guide us, so you know we ain’t going nowhere but up cause we know how hard you rode for your family.”
Furthermore, Killeen Police mentioned in the shooting that they called an isolated incident is being investigated as a murder. The police officials have not yet shared the identity of the victims.
