Florida Winter Park Police officer fatally shot a man at reception, says police

In Florida, on 19 February, Saturday at a wedding, a guest was shot to death in a wedding reception near Orlando by an official during an argument.

Moreover, the Winter Park Police officer has killed a man named Daniel Patrick Knight, 39-year-old and he was the uncle of the bride.

According to the sources, the police answered a call in which they mentioned the incident, which created a confusing situation for all of the individuals present there at the moment.

The shooting that took place at the Winter Park Library and Events Center in Winter Park is under investigation by state officials, the whole family of the individuals has faced death, and the shooting is said to be invalid, and all of them are looking for the answers.

Afterwards, it has been mentioned, “He was a kind gentle soul, and his only crime committed that night was drinking and having a good time with his family.”

Along with this, the Winter Park Police mentioned in a statement that they got a call on 911 from a banquet hall around 9:40 p.m., in which they had a conversation that the man was bothering other individuals at the place.

As per the statement made by the police officials, as the crowd gathered at that place, the man attacked a second officer and at the time of the fight, the other then killed the man.

It is not yet identified by the two of the officers by the department who were transported to the hospital with normal injuries. On the other hand, the police officers who used their gun for the shooting has been assigned administrative duty.

Furthermore, the family members of Knight mentioned about there contact with the state investigators and an attorney that would provide help in getting the whole truth out.
