Paulk was managing the Royal Park Bridge, which extends from Lakeview Avenue in West Palm Beach as well as connects to the island of Palm Beach when it opened as the 79-year-old walked her bike through.

Along with this, the female was a maximum of 10 feet away from the end of the bridge when she fell through a gap in the street.

Moreover, the West Palm Beach police spokesman named Mike Jachles mentioned, “The woman tried to hang on.”

He further mentioned, “There was a bystander nearby who tried to help her, but tragically she fell five or six stories below where she died landing on concrete.”

However, the police officials highlighted that the women’s name is held back under Marsy’s Law, which is looking to protect the victim’s privacy rights.

Furthermore, the Detectives, in the previous month, has obtained a search warrant for Paulk’s cellphone, say, police officials.

The Investigators had determined that she was not using her phone when the incident took place. Throughout the investigation, the officials cooperated with her, and after the arrest, they raised the question on her on Thursday.
