US: Filmmaker James Morosini shares incident about being catfishes by his father on Facebook

In the United States, a 31-year-old, Hollywood filmmaker named James Morosini shared the incident in which his dad catfished him by posing as a pretty girl on Facebook tv.

Morosini mentioned that he started dating a woman named Becca related to similar hobbies and interests.

Along with this, Morosini stated, “I discovered it was my dad. He basically created this whole profile as a way of making sure that I was okay.”

James Morosini was going through a hard time with his father named, Claudio Lichtenthal, a decade ago (the past ten years), he made the decision to cut him out from his life.

But his father was not willing to accept the contact with his son and created a fake Facebook account to connect with his using the photos of a pretty girl to get his attention.

Moreover, the 31-year-old built up his interest in the girl. He found that his father was behind the account he was talking to. It left him in a feeling of ‘complete rage and embarrassment.’

In real-life, Morosini was of 20-year-old when he was suffering from depression when his relationship with his father hit an ending point. He thought of completely breaking up with his father after a bad argument.

He stated, “My dad and I got into a big fight, and I decided to just cut him off of social media and everything else.”

Additionally, he blocked him on social media, and he changed the contact details for his number, ‘Do Not Answer.’

“I got home one day. And this beautiful girl had sent me a friend request on Facebook. And she seemed awesome.” Morosini mentioned, “she had all the same interests as me and liked all the same stuff.”

Further, Morosini added, “He had basically created this whole profile as a way of making sure that I was okay.”
