On Monday, Former US President Donald Trump has introduced a new social media venture, ‘Truth Social’, which seems to be launched at Apple’s App Store.
As per the information provided by the sources, Ex-President was banned from all of the social media apps, but by this move, he is going to make a come back on the US Presidents Day holiday.
In the previous year, in October, Trump has made the declaration that he was offering a social media platform which is known as the Truth Social to “stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech.”
Along with this, the owner of the application is recently formed Trump Media & Technology Group.
In posts late on Friday, a verified account for the network’s chief product officer, which has been listed as Billy B., has answered the app’s questions from people who were called to use it during its test phase. According to the reports, one user asked him when the app, which has been available this week for beta testers, would be released to the public.
The administrative answered, “We are currently set for release in the Apple App store for Monday, February 21.”
Additionally, this launch would make the presence of Trump on social media restored for over a year after he was prohibited from Twitter Inc, Facebook as well as Alphabet Inc’s YouTube from January 6, 2021. The invasion of the USA Capitol by his supporters after he was charged with posting messages inciting violence.
On February 15, the eldest son of Trump named Donald Jr. has posted on the Twitter account a screenshot of his father verified account @realDonaldTrump, in which there is one post related to the truth that he uploaded on February 14, “Get Ready! Your favourite President will see you soon!”
