New Jersey man swept out to sea while swimming off beach in Hawaii

In New Jersey, a young man went missing while swimming off the beach in Hawaii, and he swept out to the sea.

As per the statement shared by the city officials, the man was named Matthew Preziose, 25-year-old, was last in distress with another swimmer who made it back to safety in the afternoon off Lumaha’i Beach on the north shore of Kauai.

Along with this, Preziose of Middletown was discovered by Kauai police as the man that is missing. The lifeguards, firefighters as well as US Coast Guard officials used a helicopter to find him, but there were no signs observed.

The firefighters and the lifeguards suspended their search at approximately 6 p.m. on Saturday. On the other hand, the US Coast Guard personnel kept working on the case for searching the missing man throughout the night.

Moreover, the search remains constant at the beginning of Sunday with Hawaii’s Department of land and Natural Resources using the jet skis as well as US Coast Guard officials combing the area by water and land.

The Kauai Police were looking for an update in the messages and were not directly returned. However, a US Coast Guard spokesperson in Honolulu confirmed the search for Preziose was still ongoing on Monday in between the winds of 7 mph and 4-foot swells.

Meanwhile, a man who had answered the phone at the Preziose’s home refused to comment or share an update in the search on Monday afternoon.

Furthermore, the man was described by the police officials as 5 feet 11 inches tall. Last time, he was seen in blue swim trunks and three gold chains.
