Philadelphia police nab man for stabbing two employees at Museum of Modern Art

In the United States, the man has been under arrest who stabbed two of the employees at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City is now in the control of the Philadelphia police.

As per the information provided by the sources, he was seen at a centre city bus terminal after they mentioned that the set blaze to a hotel room in Spring Garden.

Moreover, a Surveillance video inserted in the Museum of Modern Art shows the time in which the man jumped over a reception desk and stabbed two employees as they tried to escape on Saturday.

The New York City police shared the video, which highlighted a man who was or around 60-year-old named Gary Cabana. He was getting inside the museum lobby through the revolving door, then climbing onto the desk as well as jumping over it as a man that was carrying a walkie talkie to stop the man.

Along with this, the man that is wearing a black wool hat along with a surgical mask tried to attack three of the workers of the Museum, but he stabbed one of them which was a 24-year-old female, she tried to run from the crime scene after some seconds so that she can save herself for again getting stabbed.

However, the attacker then stabs the second employee, who was also a 24-year-old man. The man threw his walkie-talkie towards him to distract the attacker, which helped the second employee run.

Currently, the department has no record of such incidents before, which was the first time.

On Monday, at around 6 p.m., the police officials of Philadelphia and the fire department got a call from the Best Western on the 1200 block of Vine Street related to the case of fire.

The hotel was further evacuated. While the investigators were working on the scene, they had a look at the surveillance camera and found out that the man in the camera was totally similar to the MoMA stabbing suspect.

Furthermore, the Philadelphia Police Chief Inspector Scott Small mentioned, “They got information that this individual was suicidal and was suffering from mental health issues. We realized he was possibly armed and very dangerous.”

According to the police scanner, “He also frequents bus and train stations and should be considered armed and dangerous. Once again, from Central Detectives, the male wanted for arson at 1212 Vine is also wanted for a stabbing in New York City. We’re looking for a 60-year-old white male.”
