Texas woman arrests for killing friend, kidnapping baby of friend

In Texas, a woman named Magen Fieramusca is under arrest as she was accused of killing her own friend and kidnapping her friend’s baby without a warrant.

Fieramusca has killed her friend named Heidi Broussard, 33 -year-old and later, she kidnapped her baby. She tried to tell that baby was her own.

Along with this, Fieramusca faces charges of capital murder, tampering with a corpse and two counts of kidnapping in the case when the 33-year-old went missing. Her body was discovered in a Houston suburb in the trunk of a car reported to Fieramusca a week after.

Margo Carey, Broussard’s daughter, was only of a month at that time and was discovered alive in the apartment as well as reunited with her father two days before Christmas 2019.

On Thursday, the hearing was was heald and in-person in the 460th District Court of Travis County, with Fieramusca was found in a maroon jail uniform shirt along with this black-and-white stripped lowers. She was taken into the courtroom by four deputies.

On December 19, around 1:17 p.m., the Texas Rangers entered the Fieramusca’s Houston home without a warrant.

On the other hand, the defence asserted that when they entered inside the apartment, they did not have the proper reason for entering the house, but later on, the warrant was issued on the same day at 8:30 p.m.

Moreover, the state mentioned that three exceptions justifying the search as well as the seizure of the home at that time:

-Law enforcement is not needed to shot the probable cause when action is immediately required to protect human life.

-There was an objective standard of reasonableness to enter, given the facts along with the circumstances of the case.

-Consent was given by someone authorized to provide consent, allowing Texas Rangers to enter the apartment without a warrant.
