California authorities announces $1,000 reward for information of mother accused of kidnapping her daughter

In California, on 25 February Friday, the authorities declared a $1,000 reward for the information leading to the arrest of a mother accused of abducting her daughter from a Spring Valley school and also of crossing to Mexico.

As per the details provided by the San Diego County sheriff’s Lt. Thomas Seiver, on Tuesday, at around the time of 1:15 p.m., Jolyn Gutierrez, 6-year-old, was observed walking towards the south from Kempton Elementary School.

All of the staff members at the educational institution has noticed Gutierrez going with her mother, Wendy Gutierrez, 45-year-old.

Currently, officials do not have custody of her at the moment.

Along with this, Seiver mentioned, the photos that the department has released shared the data related to the women, and she was last seen with Jolyn roughly near 3 p.m. on Tuesday at the National City Jack in the Box in the 3100 block of Plaza Boulevard.

On Wednesday, Seiver stated that the investigators questioned a witness who’d crossed the U.S.-Mexico border Tuesday and identified a young girl and an older woman similar to Jolyn and Wendy’s descriptions travelling into Tijuana, and they both were walking.

In addition, the Investigators mentioned Wendy Gutierrez wanted on suspicion of kidnapping Jolyn.

According to the officials, Wendy is a Hispanic lady who is 5-foot-4 and weighs 120 pounds. The woman has bright blue hair, brown eyes, and last was seen wearing a white zip-up sweatshirt and grey and black camouflage cargo pants.

Seiver said Jolyn is also a Hispanic is 3-feet-tall with long brown hair and brown eyes. At the time she was last seen was wearing a black zip-up hooded sweatshirt, black boots, and a mask.
