California: 3-month-old kidnapped during his grandmother unload groceries

United States: In California, a 3-month-old was kidnapped as his grandmother unloaded groceries, according to the police officials.

There was a video shared on Monday in which the authorities said that the man was walking down a Northern California street with a toddler after allegedly having kidnapped a 3-month-old boy from his family’s apartment.

Moreover, the man entered the apartment just north of downtown San Jose shortly after 1 p.m. as well as left with Brandon Cuellar, who is a San Jose police representative, Sgt. Christian Camarillo, says the sources.

Camarillo mentioned in the statement that the grandmother of the boy was watching the infant while his mother was at work.

The boy’s grandmother was looking at the baby boy while his mother was at work, the grandmother had returned home from a trip to the grocery store with Brandon and taken him into the apartment, Camarillo said.

Along with this, she left the boy for around two minutes to get the groceries from the car, says Camarillo.

He further mentioned, “In that short amount of time, someone entered the apartment” and left with the child.”

In addition, “Today, someone is walking around with a 3-month-old baby they did not have yesterday,”

The family of the boy did not identify the man, who was captured on a security camera carrying what authorities described as a baby carrier with a white blanket over it.

On the other hand, Camarillo expressed that it was not clear whether the man brought the carrier on whether it belonged to the family members.

Brandon was observed with a white long-sleeve onesie with dinosaurs on it, highlighted by the police department.

Furthermore, Camarillo said that the team of an FBI child abduction are working on the search for that little one and has been scattered in all of the areas.
