Chester: 2-year-old brother shots 4-year-old sister; dies

A four-year girl has faced death after she was shot by her 2-year-old brother on Tuesday in the morning in Chester, Delaware County, as per the police officials.

The incident took place at the time of 10:30 a.m. in the 900 block of Kerlin Street, nearby the gas station.

The police officials mentioned that the four-year-old, as well as the two-year-old, were all along in the car together when the incident took place.

Moreover, the Delaware County District Attorney named Jack Stollsteimer, “Everybody in the community of Chester and Delaware County, myself all of us are just heartbroken to think of what happened to this poor child.”

Along with this, the investigators mentioned that the two-year-old came into control of the gun while the young ones were parked at the gas station.

In addition, the officials stated that the four-year-old victim was rushed to an area health care centre but was declared dead.

The gun was legally owned, but the police department is still trying to figure out why the young one was able to get a hold of the weapon as well as why they were left alone with it.

On the other hand, Stollsteimer said, “Why was the gun available? Those are questions that still require to be answered.”

Furthermore, till now, no charges have been filed yet.
