In Florida, a 35-year-old woman was apprehended over the weekend on the allegations of placing a young one inside a laundry dryer as well as switching on the machine.
As per the sources, Amber Chapman has been charged with aggravated child abuse as the 4-year-old boy has sustained peculiar wounded that have landed him in an emergency room.
The incident happened in the month of February as well as Ms Chapman was charged with child abuse. The boy has sustained the grape-sized injury, mentioned to the doctors that Ms Chapman had put him inside the machine with some towels as well as that he “went around & around”, according to the officials.
Moreover, the authorities have mentioned in the statement that a 35-years-old was the caretaker of the boy. He was discovered with head, face, back and abdomen wounds. During an interview, he shared the information with the Lake County Sheriff’s Office that Ms Chapman placed him in the dryer along with the towels and activated the machine. The 35-year-old even opened the door mid-cycle as well as then closed it again to start the tumbling again.
In the medical report, it has been mentioned that the Child Protection Team was not able to determine if it was being placed in the dryer that has caused the injuries.
Meanwhile, it has also added that the severity of the injuries was consistent with what the boy pointed to the doctors as well as deputies.
Furthermore, after collecting the evidence, the police officials arrested Amber Champan on Saturday, but she was later released on a $15,000 bond.
