Texas: 2 dogs with collars, microchips found dead

In Texas, the United States, two dogs with collars as well as microchips have been discovered dead in the state, along with one of the dogs that were reported as decapitated, according to the authorities.

As per the Montgomery County, the resident of Texas named Adrienne Madison shared the information at the time of the interview that her dog named Murphy with the neighbour’s dog Diva were discovered shot dead on a train track after fleeing through a hole in the fence on her property. Murphy, who Madison had adopted from a pet shelter, was discovered decapitated at the place where the incident took place.

Moreover, Madison mentioned in the statement, “Both the dogs had been shot and killed, and Murphy, my dog, had been beheaded. We do not know about this why somebody would do something like that, especially with collars. They were still on when they found them.”

Both the dogs were wearing their collars which identified the location of their owners, and Madison stated that the dogs were also microchipped.

Along with this, it appears that the dogs were not killed on the railroad tracks but rather were dumped after being shot to death.

Madison further added, “The officer told us there had been similar incidents not too far from that area and not too distant in tone recently. To me, a person who would commit something that brutal to an innocent animal probably doesn’t have much regard for human life either.”

Furthermore, the investigators are working on the crime scene, and the incident is being investigated by the animal cruelty unit of the Montgomery County Precinct 2 Constables Office.
