US: Meta employees no longer requires to get booster shots against COVID-19

The Meta employees are no longer required to get a booster shot against the variant of the COVID-19 infection as they are returning to their work in the United States, as per the company spokesperson.

On Friday, it was declared that the people entering their offices would not be required to receive the booster shot, but still, it will be recommended to them.

Meta, the owner of Facebook, has halted the compulsory COVID booster shot for the employees in the United States of America they can continue their work.

Moreover, the company has highlighted that despite the transformation in the rules and regulations, the booster shots are “strongly recommended.”

Along with this, the representative of the Meta named Tracy Clayton expressed, “We updated our needs in the early March to align with Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance as well as no longer be required for the entry, though strongly recommended. The primary vaccination need (1- or 2-shot series) remains in place.”

The company has started the employees back to its offices in the United States in March after several delays.

Meanwhile, in the month of January, when Meta had previously expected to reopen its campus to the workers, the company has rolled back the date of return to March 28 as well as they have made the announcement that it would need booster shots for all of the staff members of that are resuming their work.

The change took place as the COVID-19 infection cases have been charged by the increase in the maximum number of individuals getting infected by the Omicron variant all over the USA.

Furthermore, the other big technology companies have also started their work in this current month.
