Basketball star Zach Lavine has been provided a new contract by the Chicago Bulls which has crossed any number that the basketball legend Michael Jordan managed to earn.
It will be an incredible remark and achievement which has been earned by Zach Lavine to even be in the same list which contains the Chicago Bulls and Jordan.
Not just only he has reached that scale to become the player to be considered on the list with players like Jordan, but he is also now on a more lucrative contract than Jordan was ever given.
Lavine has planned that his future in the National Basketball Association (NBA) will be with the Eastern Conference franchise.
The shooting guard came to the bulls from the Minnesota Timberwolves & he was an integral part of making the team prominent and relevant again.
Despite falling in the first round to the Milwaukee Bucks, the Bulls completed and now have the core of players to do it again.
Lavine has averaged 24.4 points, 4.5 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game. Now he is also breaking a Jordan mark.
According to the reports, Lavine has just signed a new five-year deal with the Bulls which is worth $215 million. The reports further revealed that it is the largest contract in the franchise history. He will also have the highest salary for a Chicago player since Michael Jordan.
LaVine’s average salary will be $43 million. Jordan went from $3.85M in 1996-97, to being worth $30.14M in 1997-98. Already being the highest-paid player since His Majesty shows how important the point guard is to Illinois.
