Washington: Customer, employee of Walmart shot, injured with three young men who were involved in altercation

Mount Vernon, Washington: A customer and an employee of a Walmart were shot and injured along with three young men who authorities mentioned were involved in an altercation inside the store on Sunday, according to the police officials.

As per the sources, the police official reported that they received calls about shots being fired inside the apartment shortly before 10 p.m. Sunday.

Moreover, the investigators believe the shooting took place after a group of men entered the store & got into an argument with another group of males who were already in the store, says the police officials.

The people that were injured in the shooting were a 72-year-old customer and a 24-year-old employee & the three 19-year-old males allegedly involved in the argument, police mentioned. Authorities did not stated about any arrests and did not know the conditions of the victims, .

Along with this, three victims were taken to a hospital by emergency workers and two arrived in private vehicles, say the police officials.
In the Monday afternoon, no arrests had been made, as per to Mount Vernon police. The Police officials mentioned that there was no sign the men entered the store to create an “active threat event.”

Maybelline Gonzalez, of Sedro-Woolley, told the information that she was at self-checkout when she heard two gunshots.

At first, Gonzalez, 26-year-old, thought it was the sound of something falling off a shelf as employees were restocking. Gonzalez was near the entrance as well as said she was able to leave the store.

Furthermore, Mount Vernon is about 60 miles (97 kilometers) north of Seattle.
