Alabama: Escaped prisoner and guard suspected of helping him had a “Special Relationship”, says investigators

In Alabama, an escaped inmate and a guard suspected of helping him had a “special relationship”, according to the investigators.

The announcement from the Alabama sheriff’s office mentioned that the discovery was confirmed by fellow inmates of missing prisoner Casey White who is a murder suspect.

Moreover, a chase is underway for the 38-year-old who escaped as well as correction officer Vicky White, 56 has no relation.

The pair vanished as she was transporting him to a bogus mental evaluation.

Along with this, the police officials have not shared any information if the relationship was romantic or not.

On Friday, the pair went missing, which was supposed to be her final day at work. She had recently sold her home as well as told her colleagues she had made the plan to spend some more time at the beach.

In addition, the police officials now believe Ms White has helped orchestrate the escape after breaking jail protocol to escort Casey While alone.

Sheriff Rick Singleton emphasized on Tuesday, May 3, “Investigators got the details from inmates at the Lauderdale County Detention Center in the weekend that there was a special relationship in between Director White & inmate Casey White.”

Furthermore, “That relationship has now been confirmed by independent sources and means through our investigation.”

On Tuesday, the US Marshals Service stated that the two were last observed on Friday while driving a copper-coloured Ford Edge with an Alabama registration plate.

Meanwhile, the same bulletin gave two aliases for Ms White which were April Davis and Renee Marie Maxwell. The authorities highlighted that White should be considered “armed and extremely dangerous.”
