Florida teens killed in Hendry County after high-speed chase

United States: Two Florida teenagers were killed in Hendry County early on Saturday morning after a high-speed chase, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

A Florida Highway Patrol released a statement that the two teens, a 19-year-old man from Clewiston as well as a 17-year-old girl from Hialeah, were fleeing from Hendry County deputies at high speed on County Road 835 at 2:04 a.m.

Troopers mentioned that the teens tried to make a sharp right-hand curve but failed, launching their car into a large canal along the road.

The car hit the south embankment of the canal before falling into the water.

Along with this, deputies stated that the teens died at the scene of the crash. The troopers are still working on the location of the crash.

On the other hand, a 10-year-old boy was attacked by a shark while snorkelling in Florida, and he lost his leg to save his life.

He was transported to the Miami hospital. When the incident occurred, he was with his mother, father, two brothers and one sister, per the information shared by his uncle.

In one of the social media posts, his uncle- Joshua Reeder, mentioned in the statement, “But yet his is still in strong and in good spirits and will love and tell of this story to millions of people all over the world of how Jesus spared his life and saved him.”

On the other hand, an online fundraiser set up on behalf of Jameson Jr. had eclipsed $34,000 as of midday Monday.
