United States: About two Florida teenagers were detained for allegedly sexually battering a woman during an armed carjacking on Wednesday, as per the police officials.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Corey Jones, 18, and a male suspect, 16, accosted a lady walking home and used force to force her into the backseat of her car while holding her at gunpoint.
According to deputies, the two adolescent suspects took the victim’s car to an unidentified area, where they repeatedly assaulted her sexually before taking her to an ATM.
According to the sheriff’s office, they assaulted her sexually once again and dragged her out of her car after forcing her to withdraw money from her account. After then, the victim was able to receive assistance.
Jones was driving the victim’s automobile, which was discovered by detectives on Thursday near Pompano Beach. He attempted to elude the deputies, but they apprehended him.
According to the sheriff’s office, Jones dropped two phones during his effort to flee, one of which belonged to the victim.
Detectives detained the 16-year-old suspect on Friday. The two adolescents were charged with sexual battery with a weapon, kidnapping an adult, carjacking with a firearm, and robbery with a gun after they admitted to their offences.
