Texas, United States: The police officials of Houston, Texas have detained and charged a suspect in the deadly shooting of a man and his two-year-old son, who was discovered in a vehicle hours later.
The 38-year-old, Bolanle Fadairo, was charged with two counts of murder as well as one count of tampering with evidence in the 482nd State District Court.
The officers responded to a shooting on the afternoon of September 20 in the parking lot of a business at 5501 El Camino Del Rey Street, where they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot injury.
Paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene where the incident took place.
Later on, the investigators learned that Fadairo had met with the victim in this area. The two spoke before Fadairo shot the person, as the Houston police official mentioned in the statement.
The victim tried to escape the crime scene but crumpled in the parking lot. Fadairo then entered the black Chevrolet Traverse of the victim as well as fled the scene, according to the police officials.
Afterwards, at 6:30 p.m., a woman recorded her husband as well as her son, 2-year-old missing. She provided police officials with her husband’s vehicle information as well as officers found the vehicle in the 5900 block of Elm Street around 7:10 p.m.
The police officers smashed the vehicle’s window as well as found a 2-year-old boy inside who was not responding. Paramedics tried to save the little child, but he was pronounced dead at the crime scene. His cause of death was pending the results of an autopsy.
The police officials are working on the incident.
