US: Shearwater Health providers outline ways to solve global nursing shortage

Shearwater Health: Global healthcare solutions provider in Tennessee, United States of America, have raised the question of what is the solution to solve the issue of global nursing shortage.

They took to their official Facebook account and shared the solution that create more nurses. 

They have launched an international Scholarship program to enable more nurses to enter the nursing profession. We guide and equip them to one day take their nursing career to the United States.

Shearwater Health call this the Shearwater-University scholarship program. There is a huge opportunity to help solve the global nursing shortage in a way that has a real impact. 

The team has helped cultivate professional growth to nurses who are eager to expand their skills and gain knowledge in an environment that helps nurses achieve their goals and live out their dreams.

Shearwater Health has partnered with two universities in the Philippines to provide scholarships to nursing students who have a strong academic performance and have displayed an interest in wanting to work in the United States. 

Through this partnership, everyone works with the faculty of these universities to help identify nurses who have the determination and heart for nursing and are ready to put in the work necessary to fulfill their mission of working globally. 

For those students who indicate that they would one day like to work in the United States, they provide them with a 4th year scholarship. Upon graduation, we work with them to get a local job as a Registered Nurse in a hospital and partner with them to enhance their skills.

Once these nurses are ready to take the next step in their career development, we will provide plenty of notice to their hospital to hire a replacement. And then, the next chapter of these nurses’ lives begins.
