Sint Maarten: Tourist found her lost phone at Maho Beach

Maho Beach, Sint Maarten: Maho Beach, situated on the Dutch side of the island, is famously known due to nearby Princess Juliana International Airport is a well-known spot for tourists and plane enthusiasts.

Many people visit the beach, especially to watch aeroplanes land during their final approach to the airport. As they are only 40 feet above the beach, most individuals can come near an aircraft during its final approach.

Every day, a new story emerges on this spot as numerous tourists from different countries visit every day at Maho beach. Yesterday, a tourist dropped her iPhone at Maho Beach while clicking photographs of an aircraft. She was a lady.

Only after another three planes landed she noticed the loss. Some other professional photographers walked up and down the beach asking everyone and every bar if they had yet to see the phone.

The photographer emphasized that her beautiful mood of the island tour was gone, and all the beautiful vacation memories of the Caribbean cruise were on the lost phone.

While helping the lady who lost her phone, they drove on towards Philipsburg, and at the height of the flagpole in Cay Bay, they finally had data with the other phone and could locate the lost iPhone.

“We saw it must be in the Simpson Bay area near the bridge – so we turned and drove back again. We asked all the stores around Vesna Tavern, but nothing”, said the photographer.

A few hours later, the redeeming call from a Swiss sailor couple finally found the phone at Maho Beach, took it on their boat, and then met immediately at the Sint Maarten Yacht Club to hand it over to the lady. Her visit to Maho Beach didn’t become a bad memory, and the incident will remain a good memory for her.
