In California, a teacher manipulated an 11-year-old girl to switch her identity and name. The mother of the child named Jessica Konen has complained against the California school district and has filed a legal case against school authorities.
The Spreckels Union School District was accountable for the shockingly bad and outrageous conduct that has made the children to move on the way to accepting the identity of the transition, says as per the claim that the legal group filed on Wednesday.
The mother mentioned the two teachers who were running the schools’ Equality Club, which was later known as the YOU Be YOU (UBU), which have made the girl believe that she was bisexual in the 6th standard, and after that, she was being told that she is a transgender person.
Jessica Konen stated that her daughter mentioned that she was bisexual. Her mother was not aware that her daughter recognises herself as a boy until in December 2019 at the Buena Vista Middle School. There was a meeting held in the office of the Principle when her daughter was in 7th class.
Ms Konen wasn’t able to understand the reason for the urgent meeting unless her daughter came inside the office, and she sat around the table at that time her teacher shared the information.
Her mother said, “I was caught off the guard by hearing that information as I was also blindsided. It was being difficult for me to cope with that situation as I didn’t understand what to feel because I wasn’t able to know from where it was coming from.”
According to the sources, her mother cried after hearing what was happening in the school and her daughter’s issues.
Konen said she allowed the school authorities to use her name as a boy only for attendance purposes, and she was trying to be supportive, but it was tough.
